European open 3/ home

Hello!

I am finaly back home in Norway, feels good to be back with my girlfriend after the last big trip fore the season. I did not go home at Thursday as planed because the Company I am travelig with wouldn’t change my air ticket. So I did get 3 more days in laax. Me and Klaus was at this welcome party fore the European open at Thursday. We had allots of fun, got some free beers and shots, but when we where going to the gas station to grab some food something bad happened. On the way there we went down some stairs, Klaus went first and felt down stairs and hit the ground hard with his head first. He blacked out fore 5 minutes ore more, so I got some local guys to call an ambulance. I joined Klaus to the hospital where he did an x ray that luckily just showed a bad concussion. The doctor did 3 stitches above his right eye and 4 stitches under his over lip. He did look pretty bad.
The doctor said that Klaus where going to stay at the hospital fore a few day, so I went home early next morning. When I got back in my room at Riders Palace I found Pc and Elvis laughing when Sigbjørn was cleaning up his upchuck that was all over my stuff including my bed. That was just a perfect start of my day. The only thing I wanted was to get some sleep after a long night at the hospital, but that could I just dream of.

Europeen Open2

Well, today we did the slopestyle qualification. I don’t think I could have gone worse then it did. First of all, what the hell does a halfpipe do in the middle of a slopestyle course? If I wanted to ride halfpipe I would sign up fore that.. A half pipe has nothing to do in a slopestyle course, that’s like putting a kicker in the middle of a halfpipe!! Anyways I didn’t pull of my run on the kickers so the pipe did not matter that much.
I have some problems with my heels, so I did not do the practice the day before, because of that I wouldn’t do the dobbelcork today, so I tried to play safe with this run: left nine nose, sw left ten mute, sw right 7 mute, but that did not happened. So I ended up with I 16th place (well deserved after a run like that), and that sucks.. Fridtjof Fredrikson, Elvis Harsheim and Vegard Øye did qualify to the semis, they did real good som allots of creds to them..
I think I am going home tomorrow, I might go to Sweden and do the scndhands golden air, a bigjump comp that could be fun.

Europeen open!

Now I’m in lax in Switzerland for the Europeen open.
My journey was pretty messed up. Me, Elvis and Sigbjørn went to Frankfurt earley Saturday morning. When we came to Frankfurt it was 2 hours to our next flight, so we did just chill out at our gate. We was just joking around at the gate, the time went so fast. Suddenly we noticed the time and we realized that we missed our flight….. what the fuck, how could we have not noticed that people did board in when we was at the gate? Well done!!!
Well, luckily we got new tickets for free, probably because they thought we was retarded ore something.. Finally we’re here.

Finally Home!

The last couple of days have I spent in trysil with Olav Stikbakke. The terrain park in trysil is real great, and the JOSS jump is very good. The jump is not too big, but you’re able to pull of some big spins and flips there anyways.
We had a photo shoot with Arnold Bakken one night that turned up pretty good. He is a really good photograph so we got some nice photos.
I’ve also learned the dobbelcork 10 that night, met Jon Olsson who was stoked about my 10 and got me into the sweet rumble…STOOKED
